These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tanlux mobile application (“App”), operated by ENFRO SUN CLUB AB, a Swedish limited liability company registered under Organization Number: 5591228720, with its registered office at Östra Ringgatan 9M 44131 Alingsås.

By using Tanlux, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App and its services.

1. Overview of Services

Tanlux is a mobile platform that allows users to:

  • Authenticate securely via BankID
  • Start tanning sessions in ENFRO SUN CLUB AB studios
  • Purchase products from in-studio vending machines
  • Make payments using Swish
  • Use in-app wallets for purchases, subject to time-based validity
  • Receive location-based recommendations
  • Control equipment via Bluetooth and Nearby Devices
  • Use Google Maps API to locate nearby studios and services

2. User Eligibility

  • The App is available to all users for browsing and purchasing.
  • Tanning bed usage is strictly for individuals aged 18 or older, per Swedish law.
  • By starting a tanning session, you confirm that you meet the age requirement.

3. Account Creation and Authentication

Authentication is done securely via BankID. During sign-in, we collect:

  • Personnummer (Personal Identity Number)
  • Full name
  • Mobile number

You are responsible for account security and activity. Notify us immediately in case of unauthorized access.

4. Location and Device Access

The App may request permission to:

  • Access real-time location to suggest nearby studios
  • Use Bluetooth and Nearby Devices to interact with tanning beds and vending machines
  • Access Google Maps API to provide location-based services

You may disable permissions in your device settings, but this may limit functionality.

5. Payments and Wallet

  • All payments are securely processed via Swish.
  • Users can deposit funds into an in-app wallet.
  • Wallet balances may carry a maximum validity of 2 years, unless stated otherwise.
  • Expired balances are non-refundable unless legally required

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds may be issued in the event of:

  • Product delivery failure (vending machine)
  • Session issues due to technical errors
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges

Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the transaction. Approved refunds are processed within 30 business days.

7. Health and Safety

When using tanning services, you confirm:

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You understand the risks associated with UV exposure
  • You are medically fit to use tanning equipment
  • You will comply with in-studio safety guidelines

ENFRO SUN CLUB AB is not liable for health issues resulting from misuse.

8. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

  • Tamper with studio equipment or misuse the App
  • Circumvent safety features or age restrictions
  • Share or transfer accounts
  • Use the App in any way that violates the law

Accounts found in violation may be suspended or terminated.

9. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance

We are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal Data We Collect:
  • Name, personnummer, mobile number
  • Location data (with consent)
  • Bluetooth & device interaction data
  • Wallet usage and transaction history
Lawful Basis for Processing:
  • Contractual necessity (e.g., service delivery)
  • Legal compliance (e.g., financial records)
  • Consent (e.g., location services, marketing)
Data Retention:

We retain personal data only as long as necessary, for up to 10 years where required by Swedish accounting laws.

Your GDPR Rights:
  • Access, correct, or delete your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Request data portability

10. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party integrations, including:

  • BankID – secure identity verification
  • Swish – payment processing
  • Google Maps API – to show maps, directions, and studio locations

Note:

Google Maps may collect anonymous data (e.g., location, usage patterns) according to their Privacy Policy. By using Tanlux, you agree to Google’s Terms of Service where applicable.

We do not control how third parties use your data and encourage you to review their privacy practices.

11. Availability and Maintenance

While we strive for 24/7 uptime, service availability may be impacted by:

  • Routine maintenance
  • Software or hardware upgrades
  • Third-party service outages

We will communicate scheduled downtimes where possible.

12. Intellectual Property

All software, content, branding, and features of the Tanlux App are the property of ENFRO SUN CLUB AB. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Any changes will be notified via in-app message or email. Continued use of the App implies acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

Accounts may be terminated for:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or abusive activity
  • Legal or policy violations
  • Upon request by the user

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes will be handled in Swedish courts, with the district court of ENFRO SUN CLUB AB’s registered office as the first instance.
